It's official: Jo\u00ebl Fitzgerald<\/strong>one of the most inspiring shapers of his generation, will be invited to the Shapers Club House in early September<\/strong> for an exceptional residency. This partnership marks a new stage in the history of surfing in France, and in particular for fans of authentic surf shape<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Son of the legendary Terry Fitzgerald (Hot Buttered Surfboards), Jo\u00ebl drew his own line<\/strong>influenced by the roots of Australian surfing and the fluid manoeuvres of the free surf<\/em>. Every surfboard<\/strong> by Jo\u00ebl Fitzgerald is a work of art: pure lines, sharp tail<\/strong>harmonious tracks and rocker designed for carving<\/strong>with a philosophy deeply rooted in soul surfing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His arrival at the new Shapers Club workshop<\/strong> of 1800 m\u00b2 in Marennes d'Ol\u00e9ron (a stone's throw from the best beach breaks<\/strong> of the Atlantic coast) is in keeping with the spirit of innovation and sharing fostered by UWL Surfboards<\/strong> since the 90s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout his residency, Jo\u00ebl offers a personalized shaping service<\/strong>. Each surfer will have the opportunity to talk directly with him to design his ideal board: from the fish retro to longboard nose rider<\/strong>through to the manageable hybrids<\/strong>or even guns<\/strong> designed for the biggest swells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will be able to observe the manufacturing process: foam loaf<\/strong>, stringer<\/strong>, stratification<\/strong>, tinted resin<\/strong>... Everything is done by hand, with passion, integrating eco-responsible materials<\/strong> to stay true to sustainable surfing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
